( All hunts are guided unless otherwise arranged in advance with Dark Timber Outfitters.)
- Guided hunt price includes transportation from the Montrose Airport to the Lodge and back.
- Arrive the day before the hunt and leave the day after the hunt. (Details)
- Rifle Hunting Package includes 5 days of hunting.
- Archery/Muzzle Loader Package includes 7 days of hunting.
- We assist field dressing animal and transporting game to the lodge.
- Horses and mules provided for packing out game.
- 4 wheel drive vehicles are available to transport hunters to unit areas.
- 4x4 ATV's available for hunting in back country areas.
- Spike camps if possible.
- Stay at the rustic Dark Timber Lodge.
- Get two hot meals and a terrific sack lunch daily, with hot showers, a bed and all linens provided.
- Transportation of kill to the butcher and taxidermist are provided.
- 3D archery practice course on premises.

Price includes accomodations at Dark Timber Lodge, meals & snacks, hot showers, bedding and guide service. We will take 10 hunters in each season. In archery season we have 4 seven-day hunts which include 7 days of muzzle loader hunting. Remember if born after January 1, 1949, you will need a valid Hunter's Safety Card from any state.
Deposits of 50% are required for all reservations, in each session. Reservations should be made as soon as possible. For more information Contact Us.
